When I hear Bingo, I think about grandmas and grandpas, all gathered together for a fun game night. It’s not something I would have imagined playing until I became a grandma myself. So, I was a bit skeptical, at first, about trying out a Bingo game. But you know what? I think they should also start showing other people playing Bingo in movies. Because Bingo by Appbite is anything but old. It's fresh, fun, and can literally be played by any person, no matter the age.

Take the classic game

The rules of Bingo are simple: get your Bingo card(s), each one with BINGO written on it, and a bunch of numbers under every letter of the word BINGO. Then, whenever you hear a number you have on your card, you cross it over, or tick it. Your goal is to form a Bingo line on a card faster than everyone else and before the available balls run out. When you've got a Bingo line, shout it out, and let the world know.

Add color, and cool animated background locations

Now, that’s the basic game people have been playing with pen and paper for decades, and now, you can also play it on all sorts of other devices. But Bingo by Appbite offers more than just bringing a classic to our modern devices. Bingo by Appbite is colorful, and animated. You don’t just have a bunch of cards on a blank background. In this game, you’re not playing Bingo in your game club, or at home. You’re playing in exciting locations like Egypt, along with the mummies, New York, right by the Statue of Liberty, or Paris, next to the amazing Eiffel Tower.

Develop interesting quests

And what makes the game even more exciting is that, besides the main goal of the game, there are other objectives to complete. You unlock all these locations when you reach a certain level. So, even if you don’t win this Bingo game, or the other, or the other, you always win experience that gets you to a higher level, and the chance to unlock new locations.

Make everything count

You also win coins you can use to buy Bingo tickets, or power-ups. And Bingo tickets are your most important resource in this game, because you buy Bingo cards using Bingo tickets. But don’t worry, there are all sorts of ways to get these tickets. Win them while playing the game. Find them in the Daily Reward Chest. Buy them with the coins you earn every game. Link your Facebook account to send, and receive Bingo tickets. Or purchase Bingo ticket packs with real money.

The most expensive pack is $9.99, and you get 270 Bingo tickets. Now, depending on the background location you choose, every Bingo card you buy is worth at least one ticket. So, even if you choose to only play in the most expensive locations, using this pack, you can play over 50 games. And you don’t have to play with the maximum number of cards per game. But, statistically speaking, the more cards you play, the better chance you’ve got to form Bingo lines, and win more coins, and even Bingo tickets.

Make it challenging enough to stick, but easy enough to relax

But, also, the more cards you play, the more difficult the game gets. Now, you have to follow the numbers you hear on 4 different cards. So, at first, you might feel a bit overwhelmed, especially if you haven’t played Bingo before. But it’s a really good exercise for the brain. You can feel how your wheels are set in motion. Plus, you can always choose the pace of the game. Start with one, or two cards the first couple of games, until you get the hang of it. Then, get to three, or four cards per game, when you feel up for the task, or just want to spice things up a bit.

Add a live competition in the mix

And that’s not all. Bingo by Appbite is not only about winning coins, tickets, experience, unlocking new locations, and forming as many Bingo lines as possible. It’s about doing all this better, and faster than others. That doesn’t mean you have to wait for other players to be online for you to be able to play the game. You can’t, yet, either challenge your friends to a Bingo game. But, when you start a game, you compete against all the other gamers playing Bingo at that time. Live, with people from all around the world.

The result: a game for everybody to enjoy

If you had asked me a couple of weeks ago with what game I will start the year, I would have never though about saying Bingo. But Bingo by Appbite changed everything I used to think about Bingo games. You don’t need to be of a certain age to enjoy it. It can be relaxing, and challenging, depending on how many cards you choose to play. And, all in all, it’s just pure fun!
