One more month has gone by and it’s time for another round up of the best iphone apps we’ve reviewed since the beginning of July. There’s perhaps one important thing we should note beforehand, and that is that the month of July we’ve seen an uprising in puzzle games that have serious potential to revolutionize the industry. We’re talking about putting creativity before money, usability before fame and that great idea before anything else. We’ve had both independent developers and development teams submit some awesome games for us to review, and it’s been really hard to say no to trying out some of the most interesting and addictive puzzles we’ve seen to date. It’s no surprise that games stand at the forefront of our Top 10 Apps for the month of July.

It’s time for our first Top 10 monthly round-up for the best iPhone and iPod Touch apps and games that we’ve reviewed throughout the past month. It is perhaps the hardest thing we had to do so far: going through our database of apps and selecting only ten that are so noteworthy and whose reviews we’ve received the most feedback on. The apps we’ve seen are simply amazing and it was truly incredible to have played with them, review them and keep most of them on our devices. Congratulations to all that have put the effort to make our iPhones that much better!

We’ve tried to keep the list organized according to our preferences and your requests, so, without further a due, let us remember the highlights in iPhone apps and games for this past month on Appbite.

As we’re getting close to our two-month anniversary, we are ready to announce a few updates to our weblog. We’re constantly trying to improve our services and to develop a close communication with you. Throughout our short-lived existence thus far, we’ve been getting some feedback about including some sort of bits and pieces from the developers minds, how they work, what they do and why they do it. We thank you, our readers for the feedback you’ve been giving us, and, without further a due, let me give you a sneak preview on the new section of our weblog.

The Developer Spotlight is the place where our team at Appbite will provide you with inside information on developers that have made headlines in the App Store. How do they manage to create these awesome apps that really make our day feel complete? What’s really going through their minds when they lay it all on paper? And what does it take to become one of them? Stay with us as we’ll be picking their brains on some controversial issues regarding the App Store, their launched apps, and what their plans are for the future.

We are finally happy to announce the launch of appbite.com, your source for the top iphone apps, best free apps, iphone games and honest reviews of applications that made it big or hit rock bottom. Our development team has worked hand in hand with our creatives to make beautiful things happen, and I must say that I am thrilled by the honor they have granted me. I get to have a first bite at what we hope to become an opinion leader when it comes to the iPhone and the iPod Touch together with the next big bang after the big bang – Apple’s Appstore. In the next lines, please join me while I explain the basics of our new venture.

So, what is appbite?

Appbite is a free online resource for iPhone and iPod Touch application reviews. At the very core, we want to provide the online community with a complete resource of honest and objective reviews for apps, troubleshooting tips and hot news from Apple. Behind this simple web interface is a small team of dedicated professionals with hands-on experience and first of all passion for what we do. Whether we are reviewing top iphone apps or the so-called “Fart” apps, the best iphone games or the serious iphone business apps, cool apps or lame imitations, we put a piece of ourselves in each of our reviews. It’s why we know you will join us and it’s why we love it even more.
