iTrain iPhone App Review.
From the team over at Gravity Moves Pty came iTrain, the iPhone and iPod Touch application that can turn your device into your own personal private trainer if you're looking to lose weight, develop muscles or simply stay in shape. The app has no age, weight or any such restrictions and is suitable for all types of training.
iTrain provides the user with an impressive collection of over 200 exercises rendered in full 3D video animation, and also including detailed easy to use instructions to make you feel comfortable with performing the exercises for yourself. The app also has a set of complete body weight exercise programs meant to keep you in shape, along with other programs to monitor your general fitness, such as cardio programs, running programs, boxing, skipping, sprinting, hill and stairs programs, and programs that can be performed both indoors and outdoors.
The iPhone native app is fully integrated with the web platform. The website is designed to function with the iTrain app by providing video demonstrations of exercises from dedicated professionals. You're able to view other users' attempts at the exercises, learn from their mistakes and do it better yourself. The app lets you choose what body parts you'd want to exercise in a graphical manner, that's easy to follow and execute.
But what is impressive about iTrain is the progress indicator that records, tracks and advises on the improvements you've made throughout your fitness programs. You can periodically take a fitness test to monitor your progress and display a graph to provide the stats on every exercise and routine you've taken on. But why stop here? The progress is monitored continually, and exercises will gradually adapt to your fitness level. The progress tracker basically lets the app know that the body has grown accustomed to the same old routine and that in order to progress, it needs to adapt and suggest new routines. This makes iTrain ideal for all levels, from beginner to experts.
You can also choose the environment you wish to exercise in - outdoor or indoor. The great outdoor will appeal to people who enjoy parks and beaches, and the exercises and routines will make use of your surrounding environment to provide you with an adequate experience. Indoor programs will cater to people with limited space who wish to exercise in the privacy of their own home.
Bottom line, if you're looking to stay in shape and lead that healthy life, iTrain is right for you and will adapt to your needs and level of expertise giving you a completely personalized experience with your private virtual trainer on the iPhone. The graphical representation of the exercises will show you the correct technique, but it is always up to you to execute it correctly. The app is available for free to download in the App Store, while the Pro version goes for as little as $1.99, with more exercises and options available.
