Is your child asking you to leave the light on when he goes to bed, because he's afraid of the monster hiding in the closet? Or are you preparing to throw a party, and the only thing missing are the lights that make you feel like you're in the middle of the dancing ring? Well, believe it or not, now there's an app that brings to the table all the night lights you’ll ever need. This is Night Light, and you can purchase it from the AppStore.

Why Night Light?

Night Light is the app that can make your evenings more romantic or, quite the contrary, turn them into wild party nights. Imagine this: all your friends are gathered, drinks are in the glasses, the music is loud, everybody's dancing, but there's still something missing from this picture. It's the night light that can turn any place into a club. And instead of heading for the supermarket to buy the lights that you need, you only have to place your iPad on the docking station or on the table, turn on Night Light, and let the fun begin!

Night Light offers 4 light styles and more than 50 light colors and templates. If you're looking for a calm light that will brighten up the room all night long, allowing your kid to sleep like a baby, choose the classic Light style and a warm color to go with it. Also, you can add smileys, animals and flowers templates, just in case your child wakes up in the middle of the night, looking for something nice to calm him down. On the other hand, if you're in a party mood, Strobe Light Style is the perfect choice. Choose a powerful color to go with that, a vibrant pattern or effect, and you're good to go.

What about your device's battery life?

With Night Light, you literally have all the lights in your pocket or bag. There are so many types of lights with so many different purposes, that, when it comes to lights, Night Light is the king of the castle. Night Light will brighten up your room…at the expense of your battery.One thing though. Since you can't put your device on stand by, while using Night Light, is there anyone who would choose to waste their device's battery life, night after night, just for a background light? There are so many things that you can do with an iPad or iPhone, that I, for one, gave up playing games that I really liked, just because they substantially decreased my device's battery life. And charging my device every night, so that I can have a nice background light is clearly not an option, because there’s a limited amount of times you can actually charge that battery of yours.

On the other hand, Night Light can prove to be useful if you use it once or twice a month, when you're throwing a party. Or, if you want to use it as a night light for your child, you can consider downloading it on an older iPhone or iPod Touch device. This way, you'll get to use to put that old device to a good use. So,all things considered, I guess it's safe to say that even if Night Light is a pretty creative app, you'll also need to be a bit creative to make it work in your favor.
