Replay Video Editor iPhone App Review.

Last year, I was in London for the first time. And of course I went up in the London Eye. One slow spin, and you could see the entire city from above. But you know what we all did throughout the ride? We took pictures. I don’t think I spent half the ride just enjoying the view. I preferred to take tons of pictures, so I can really enjoy that memory year, after year, after year, every time a take a look at those pictures. Today, just the memory of a certain event is not enough. We need pictures. To share that memory with the ones we care about, and be sure to have a constant, palpable reminder of that event. And Replay Video Editor is just the tool to have today.

What is Replay Video Editor

Replay Video Editor is the easiest way to turn your still, photographed memories, into a vibrant, fun, and unique video. Anyone can use it, because it’s as simple, and intuitive as it gets. Select the photos you want to include in your video, add a video style, easily make the modifications you think are necessary, and in a couple of minutes, you have your video. Nice, easy, and the result…absolutely memorable.

Add captions, music, and video styles

You can add up to 200 photos per video, and choose from 21 inspiring video styles. Apply the Grammy, Epic or Dandy style totally free of charge, or buy one of the other themes for $0.99 each. Or buy different packs of video styles for $2.99. Or, better yet, buy the whole pack, and add whatever video style you want, for $9.99. It’s your choice. And the best part is you can preview your video, using any video style, totally free of charge. So, when you buy a certain style, or pack, you’ll know you made the right choice.

Video Styling is, clearly, the most exciting part about Replay. But you can also use other cool stuff to make your videos look real nice. Add the music you want in the background. Add text, or other captions. Format your video, and set it at a slower, natural, or faster pace. Replay is there to make your video look just the way you want it to. As easy as it can be done.

Save & share it with the world

Then, after you’re pleased with the result, all that’s left for you to do is save your project. Keep it in your Camera Roll, or share it with other Replay users, or your friends and family through all sorts of Social Networks. And if you’re ever looking for inspiration, take a look at what other replayers are posting. There are enough users, and enough videos to keep you busy for a while now.

All in all, I think Replay is easy, clean, and it does exactly what it should be doing. It doesn’t have a ton of annoying buttons and controls. You don’t have to use a great number of tools to get the video you want. And if you have a clear image of how you want your video to look like, then you only need a couple of minutes, and it’s done. I think the app would only get nicer if, in the future, it got more social, allowing you to like, comment or even share other replayers’ videos you really enjoyed. But, for the time being, I think Replay Video Editor is as good as it can be.

One Bite to “Turn Your Pictures Into Engaging Videos With Replay”

  1. iPhoneGuyEdits says:

Great review. Replay is definitely an interesting app. I've been using Video Edit+ these past two weeks as an alternative and have found it much more versatile and more like actual “editing”. Worth checking out: http://videoeditapp.com.
