Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. While I realize you're insanely passionate about your app, as you very well should be, you also have to understand that there is always room for improvement. As a reviewer, I'm interested in presenting a user's side of the app, as opposed to not repeating what the developer is saying on the AppStore page.

I wouldn't want to try to debunk your arguments point-by-point, that's besides the purpose of these reviews. But as far as contact managers go, iCallU has the standard add screen for a new contact, unless, yet again I'm missing something.

Apple has a good reason for not allowing developers to dial a number from their own apps (I'm aware of their policies), and this would tell me that I should not try to mimic a native app's functionality (if I'm not mistaken this is also one of their policies).

Again, I would take this review as a way to improve the app, perhaps make the themes clearer (I completely missed the icon that lets you add a contact).

Thanks for your reply and thanks for clarifying the adding of contacts to me.

Cheers,
Bogdan

Thanks for taking time to review iCallU!

As the developer of the app, we would like to clarify several points:
1. You might be using iOS 6 which have some issues with contact searching via T9 on the keypad. These issues have been fixed and a new version is currently under submission review.
2. iCallU’s contacts manager is more powerful than the default Phone app’s. It shows your contacts’ photos alongside their names and contact number. It has several shortcuts to quickly text & email a contact. You can also add or edit a contact via the contacts manager or keypad within iCallU.
3. iCallU cleans up the contacts list over time by allowing its users to add country codes to contacts. This works great in our upcoming update that adds Skype integration.
4. Apple’s iOS framework currently does not allow dialer apps like iCallU to handle call dialing natively, thus control has to be handed over to the default Phone app to perform the call.
5. iCallU’s Dialed list provides more details about calls history and allows users running older versions of iOS (<v5.0) 6.="" a="" and="" app="" are="" augmenting="" be="" better="" built="" call="" default="" delete="" designed="" dialer="" does="" entry="" features="" history="" icallu="" individually.="" ios="" is="" it="" lacking.="" not="" on="" our="" phone="" platform,="" play="" poker="" sincerely,="" team="" the="" to="" users;="" where="" with=""></v5.0)>
