Golby Systems LLC, dba Appbite ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Appbite website at appbite.com, including its articles, apps, and the Appbite Search topic-based search engine and website directory at appbite.com/search and travel8.com (the "Service").
You do not need an account to search. This page is for people who have created an account and want it deleted.
1. How to Request Deletion
Please use this form: Delete Account Request
We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before we act on it.
2. What Happens Next
- We will confirm when we receive your request.
- Your account is closed and you are signed out on all devices.
- Your name, email address and account details are deleted within 30 days.
- Directory suggestions, feedback and ratings you sent are kept without your name and email address, or deleted if you ask us to.
- Sign-in security records and other security logs are kept for the periods set out in our Privacy Policy, then deleted.
- We may keep information longer where the law requires it.
3. Information on Your Device
Your recent searches and Settings are stored in your own browser, not in your account. Deleting your account does not remove them. You can clear them from Settings, or with our Cookie & Storage Checker.
4. Restoring an Account
We cannot restore a deleted account. You are welcome to create a new account at any time, and you can keep using search without one.
