Crazy Bunny iPhone Game Review.

The graphics and idea recommend it as a children’s game. The puzzle component makes it suitable for adults. The truth is Crazy Bunny has a little something for everybody and I wholeheartedly recommend it to you.

What is Crazy Bunny?

To put it simply, in Crazy Bunny you have to feed the rabbit carrots. You see, it needs to be 5150ed (that is, committed to a mental facility) because of its vitamin c craze. So how do you feed it carrots? Things are not as easy as they seem.

Crazy Bunny is a physics game. At the start of each level, your bunny is up on a pile of bricks, while the carrot is trapped in block of ice underneath the bricks. Some of the bricks can be destroyed, some cannot. The trick is to destroy all the bricks, while making sure that the rabbit will fall onto the ice carrot, thus eating it, but not land on bare ground.

Tapping once on any brown brick will destroy it and remove it from the level, while at the same time will cause a chain reaction in all the other bricks, making them fall. Ah, gravity, thou art a heartless bitch! Your bunny is also affected by the fall, so it will bounce, move, and to all intent and purposes, behave like a brick itself.

You can successfully complete a level by collecting the carrot, clearing all the bricks (except the black ones) and keeping your bunny off the ground (and, ultimately, on a black brick). Is that all, you ask? Pretty much. Multiply this by 36 exciting levels, add 12 beautifully designed maps and you’ve got yourself a pretty sweet game.

Oh yes, in the words of a great man, there’s…one more thing! For added excitement, Crazy Bunny comes in 4 different flavors - 4 to-die-for bunny characters, and if you can’t complete a level, don’t worry, the next one will automatically be unlocked after a couple of failed attempts. The fun keeps on going!

So what’s wrong with it?

Nothing, really! I do wish that there was a tutorial of sorts. If you don’t read the App Store description, or this review (hehe), before playing the game, you might seem a bit lost for the first two levels. But you quickly pick up the pace nevertheless.

So what are you waiting for? Play Crazy Bunny now - a children’s idea trapped in an adult’s mind, but ultimately everyone’s delight!
