For all of you foodies out there, who do not only enjoy eating a delicious meal, but also cooking it, Kitchen Stories Recipes is a must-have app. I, for one, am extremely passionate about cooking, baking, and everything food-related, in general. And I think Kitchen Stories Recipes is one of the best, if not the best, cooking app I’ve come across so far.

What’s really nice about Kitchen Stories Recipes is that it is an all-in-one app. You discover new recipes. Watch How-To videos. Easily add to your shopping list the ingredients you need to cook your favorite recipes. Share the recipes you like with your friends, and your own recipes with the Kitchen Stories Recipes’ community. Easy to use, intuitive, user-friendly, helpful, and social.

When it comes to diseases, few of us know how and when to act. On the one hand, there are the ipohondriacs, who only need a mild headache to call their doctor. And then, there are most of us, who are so busy with our daily chores, that we sometimes wait for years before going to a medical check. Fortunately, now you can have a basic medical check at home, whenever you feel something is wrong. It’s free, easy to use, and only one tap away from you. This is WebMD.

The first thing you have to understand about WebMD is that it’s not a substitute for a real doctor. WebMD suggests possible conditions for the simptoms you have. Tells you more about certain diseases you have. Suggests treatments and helps you get more info on the medication you’re taking. Teaches you more about first aid. WebMD has answers for all of your questions. But you still need to see a [...]

I must admit I really envy people who take pleasure in running, or working out, in general. Or those who can eat whatever they like, whenever they want to, and just don’t get fat. They don’t have to worry about keeping a diet, or lose their breath after running less than a mile. Oh, how I wish I could be one of them. But, for the rest of us, there’s My Fitness Pal. Just the friend you need to help you get rid of all those extra pounds.

I first came across My Fitness Pal over a year ago. The idea of the app got me really excited, and since I was in need of a diet, I tried it. And it worked! That is until I lost my way again, started eating all sorts of junk food all day long, relying on the fact that I had already lost the extra pounds, so what harm can one bag of chips do? So, today, as I came across My Fitness Pal again and recovered my previous [...]

There are so many food apps that you should feel inspired to cook or try something new every day. In theory. In practice, however, there’s never enough time to do so. And when you have the time to cook or the urge to try some new restaurant, you don’t know what to pick. Of course, Epicurious is always a great app to solve this problem. But it’s not the only one. Evernote Food is also an app that should be on every gourmande’s iPhone or iPad.

What I liked most about Evernote Food is that it’s not just a cookbook. Or a restaurant seeker. Or a check in and share your favorite meals kind of app. It’s all in one. And more.

With Evernote Food, the sky is the limit. You don’t have a list of dishes you can cook and that’s it. You have a multitude of recipes, each one directing you to another site, where you can find even more recipes to get you [...]

I am, what you would call, a veritable gourmand. I love food! And just looking at somebody else cooking makes me drool. But, when you have food allergies, it’s not always easy to enjoy a good meal. Especially when you can’t be sure of all the ingredients that went into that delicious meal sitting in front of you. And when you also have a peculiar allergy, like being allergic to dill, for example, it’s even harder to make sure it’s not somewhere hidden in your meal. Until you can taste it. And that’s when the nightmare begins.

But now, all your meals can be as pleasant, and most important, as safe as the ones you cook yourself. Because, with Eatible, you’re one tap away from discovering all the allergens in your meal, whether you’re in a restaurant, a Fast Food, or any other place that serves food.

With Eatible, you know what allergens [...]

I don’t know about you, but around the end of the year, I feel a lot of pressure to get everything in order. It’s almost like the world will end on the 31st of December (oh, wait, that was on the 21st). You scramble left and right to put the final touches on your projects. If you’re self-employed, you need to get your financing in order. It seems to me that the holiday season should be more about relaxation, spending time with the family or just sitting on your butt all day long playing on your iPhone, iPad, PlayStation or what have you. If the holiday season frustrates you, then perhaps you need a way to get happy during these “stressful” times. This is where Get Happy comes in as a paid download from the AppStore.

The iPhone app was designed by a practicing clinical psychologist to deliver simple daily tips to its [...]
