Live in New York? It's crowded isn't it? Traffic's a pain especially in the morning when all you want is a sweet cup of coffee to get you well started on your own busy day. If you're having trouble finding a coffee house near you or rather if you're after the best brewed premium-quality coffee, then take out your iPhone and download New York: Coffee Guide. It's free from the AppStore and you'll have access to an up-to-date database of all the best coffee shops, houses and cafes that the Big Apple has to offer.

What you get

By downloading the free app, you not only get access to an always updated database of coffee places, but also a marvelous interface design with everything you want and nothing you don't need. It's pixel-perfect and as user-friendly as you could dream of. The app will show you a map of New York with the coffee shops plotted. Touch a location and see what coffee shop is located there. You can also search by venue name, zip code, address, attraction or even subway station. Or choose to filter the venues as a list depending on user reviews, coffee quality or desert quality.

What's really cool is that the app will show you on the map only the locations that are currently open for business, and will start with those closest to your current location. Everything is carefully thought of just so that you can get your coffee fix as fast as possible.

You can easily submit your own review of a venue and help others find the best locations that meet their own needs. It's worth noting that New York: Coffee Guide won't show you every coffee place in New York. Instead, the developers (or their expert panel) will pick the best ones, hidden gems and update the lists. Your own ratings and reviews are also reviewed by them so that they can provide the Top25 coffee venues in New York. Needless to say that to get on that list is a pretty important goal for these venues, so keep on rating via this app and ensure that only the best places will show up there.

Once you're decided on where to get your coffee fix, you can view detail profiles that show you the address, the phone number, opening hours, WiFi availability togehter with professional photos and user ratings.
