Curious World iPad App Review.
Kids want to have fun. What am I saying? Everyone wants to have fun. We want to play games instead of doing boring chores. Watch a movie instead of going to the office. Dance a little instead of going to a formal business meeting. Unfortunately, most of the time, we don’t have the luxury to do the fun stuff instead of the boring ones. And until there’s an app to make even the most boring chore look fun, we’ll just have to make do with what we got. But that shouldn’t also apply to our children now, should it?
The creators of Curious World sure believe that everything can be made fun. At least for a child. Even if we’re talking of one of the most boring chores for a child, which is learning. And Curious World is one of those beautiful, magical apps that turns everything into a playful, colorful activity. The goal: make your kid learn without even knowing it.
Follow Mac and Izzy through Curious World
In this curious world, your kid will follow two adorable animated little creatures called Mac and Izzy. They will guide him through a magical world where he’ll learn about Dinosaurs, Lights and Shadows, discover weird looking Animal Eyes, and all sorts of other fun stuff. Each of these educational cards comes in a pack you can purchase for $1.99. But your kid can also do a lot of cool stuff in this Curious World, withouth you having to take a dime out of your pocket.
Explore interesting packs
For example, although most of the packs come at a price, the Dino pack is completely free of charge. And it certainly is one of the most interesting ones. Color all sorts of dino drawings. Record your roar and hear it come out in all kinds of different tones from a baby T-rex’s mouth. Make a dinosaur out of paper. Dig up ancient dinosaur bones and put them all toghether to discover dinosaurs and learn more about them. Read the story of Curious George’s Dinosaur Discovery, and take all sorts of pictures you can personalize by putting funny stickers on them. The Dino pack is filled with fun activities for your child to ejoy.
Engage in fun, educational activities
And there are still other fun activities in this Curious World he can try out. Draw, using patterns, shapes and colors. Solve puzzles and make his own puzzles by taking pictures of whatever and whoever he wants. Record himself to hear the words come out in all types of funny ways from Izzy and Mac’s mouths. And more.
Curious World has a large range of activities for your child, and you along with him, to enjoy. It’s pure fun, but also extremely educational. Learning can sometimes be fun. And in the magical Curious World, this is not an option, but a certainty.
