Murder Detective iPhone Game Review.
A woman is found murdered on the banks of the Hampton River. Nobody seems to know who she is, and the circumstances of her death are, to say the least, suspicious. Who is the victim? Who is the murderer? What is the motive? These are just a couple of the questions that you need to answer. That is, if you think you've got what it takes to join a group of trained detectives in their quest to solve this mysterious case. All you need to do is download Murder Detective from the AppStore, and you're set to go.
What is Murder Detective
Murder Detective is a crime story, where you are playing the role of detective Phil McDermott, who is trying to solve the mystery of a tragic death. As you go further along the story, more clues pop out, more suspects appear, and the plot gets more captivating. You'll start putting together and questioning the clues that you find, and be tormented by the thought that you won't be able to find out who the murderer is. It's like watching CSI or reading a captivating crime story, only better. Because, with Murder Detective, you get to be an active part of the story.
Be part of the story
Murder Detective allows you to shape the plot of the story. It's all about what you choose that makes the story unravel in a certain way. Murder Detective is not a story that you can read passively. You have to pay attention to every detail, because, from time to time, you'll have to make certain choices that will get you closer to resolving the case, or, quite the contrary, make you waste time. And, since you have 48 hours to solve this case, time is of the essence.
But your choices aren't the only ones that require your maximum attention. There's also quizzes at the end of every chapter. And according to your answers, you can choose if you want to continue the story or restart the chapter. The good part is that if you fail to answer most of the questions, Murder Detective doesn't automatically force you to restart the chapter. It is all up to you. Your choice, your game, your plot. However, if you choose to continue, you should pay more attention to details, because they are a key factor in solving this case.
Murder Detective is more about the story, and less about the gameplay. If you're looking for a game where you have to actually chase the suspects, shoot them, and manually pick up and discover clues, then Murder Detective is not the right choice for you. However, if you're interested in reading a captivating crime story, where you have the power to choose its course, while enjoying nice graphics and a cool background tune that gets you even more involved in the story, then Murder Detective will most definitely do the trick.
