With Tuesday’s elections drawing closer, there’s been a lot of talk about the race, the debates, who’s talking where, who’s going to win Ohio and where the swing votes are this year. Perhaps we should all take a step back and relax a bit before actually going to the polls, without actually losing sight of the fact that in just two days, the next leader of the free world is elected. And what better way to do this than with the trusty iPhone and a relaxing game like Tiny Election?

You’ll feel right at home with Tiny Election, because the game play is entirely identical to Angry Birds, with the only difference being that you get to use Democrats or Republicans instead of pigs and birds (kind of makes you wonder who’s who).

Your first task is to pick a side (Democrats or Republicans) and you can start the game. In the free [...]

Pigs steal eggs. Birds dive head-on towards them. Spiders now juggle fruits. The possiblities are limitless and that’s one of the great things of this platform. Any silly little concept can turn into a great, addictive game. Plingi Juggle is one of these games that will make you go “Huh?” but have you stare at your iPhone for hours on end.

The game is even simpler than Angry Birds (this is not saying that it’s as good as). There are no actual physics involved, no trajectory to calculate. Your only concerns are timing and location. You control two spiders carrying a web from left to right, while a third spider is dropping berries from a tree branch on top.

The berries fall from the left-most side of the screen, a mere three spaces from the fruit bucket. You have to use the spiders to move the web from left to right and bounce the [...]

Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games seem to be on everybody’s lips right now. But if you’re like me, coming from the PC era of Red Alert, you shriek at the thought of FarmVille and anything as boring as planting, harvesting, cutting trees, serving coffee or the likes. We crave for action, world domination, fighting and a game that won’t involve pretty pink colors.

In short, this is what SuperPower World at War is all about. Pick a nation. Build troops. Raise defenses. Attack. Defend. Conquer. Become a Super Power. The game is free to download and is optimized for the iPhone.

Your first task in the game is to pick a nation to fly its banner. Each nation will have its strengths, some will have air superioerity, others a taste for the sea, others will rely on ground units to become a super power. No matter which nation you choose, you’ll face the same challenges [...]

At least, not as long as Magnet Boy is around. All he needs is your help, and together you can bring all the destroyed robots back to life. All set? Then just download Magnet Boy from the AppStore, and let the game begin.

After playing FarmVille, CityVille, CafeWorld and many other time consuming, extremely addictive business oriented games, I thought I was over them for good. That is until I came across Hello,Cappuccino in the AppStore. And the madness began once again.

Although it’s pretty much the same as CafeWorld, Hello,Cappuccino got me hooked after just a couple of minutes of playing. I don’t know, maybe I have a gene that makes this type of games seem irresistible to me. Or Hello Cappuccino is indeed extremely addictive. Either way, you should give it a try. That is, if you think you can handle the Hello,Cappuccino effect.

Once you easily create a username, Hello Cappuccino has an extensive Tutorial waiting for you. But don’t worry, it’s not the boring type of Tutorial. Because while you learn how to manage your Cafe, you also get to score some points by [...]

Watching movies and all sorts of other videos on your iPad is extremely fun. It’s comfortable and the best thing about it is that you can watch what you want, whenever and wherever you are. Goodbye long, boring hours spent in trains. Farewell ordinary bus rides to school. With your iPad, you can catch up on your favorite TV shows no matter where you are. As long as they are downloaded from iTunes. But what if they’re not? Well, that might have been a pricey problem before, but now you can easily solve it with Replayer HD. And it’s totally free of charge.

I was actually a bit skeptical about Replayer HD, because, truth be told, it looked like one of those apps that are just too good to be true. But once I transferred a home movie (avi format), Replayer HD proved to be, indeed, a wonder app. From a crystal clear image, to interchangeable [...]

In Odyssey: Alone against the whole space, you control a modern warship that you need to guide through the wave of enemy ships that want to blow you out of the sky. At first, you start with a level 1 ship, but as you play, you gain resources which you can then use to buy a new and better ship.

To start off this review with something positive, I’d need to look at the graphics. One word! Stunning. The game is flawlessly designed with realistic and colorful graphics, brilliant and explosive effects, making any iPhone owner proud to show off the beautiful display.

The game features a directional pad control and a shooter. You have to use the dpad to navigate your ship through space, dodge enemies and enemy fire, collect powerups and such. The shooter, well, you should keep it pressed at all times, ammo is not an issue with your standard weapon.

The problem with [...]
