If you’re running Windows and would like total control over your PC via your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, JumiOne is a good choice to look at. It’s an all in one desktop, remote, keyboard, mouse, webcam and media controller for your PC.

To get it working you need two things. An iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad with JumiOne installed and a PC running Windows with the JumiController (available free of charge from JumiTech.com) installed and running. Minor configurations are required in the Jumi Controller (like a password and/or enabling guest access), and JumiOne will autodetect the PCs in range running the controller and will prompt you for the password in order to connect.

While the app itself is free to download, there’s not much you can do without those in-app purchases. JumiOne is merely the app that brings together another set of apps that [...]

I believe we all know Pong and what it has done to gaming ever since the industry’s very beginnings. Over twenty years ago, Pong was just some black and white game similar to tennis, where the two players involved would just try to outsmart and outmaneuver each other and put a white dot behind the moving white line at the opponent’s side of the screen.

Not today! Twenty years has done much to gaming, technology and, now, with MultiPong, the simple game of Pong itself is revolutionized with stunning graphics and sounds, creative multiplayer gameplay, but still keeping true to its roots.

For those that don’t know what I’m talking about, the goal of the game is to hit the pinball past the other player’s paddles and, at the same time, defending your own. Simple enough to do, fun to enjoy.

MultiPong, as the name suggests, is better played with [...]

Starting up the app leaves you amidst a multitude of buttons, options and numbers. It seems like there are some options to configure pretty much everywhere you look. I won’t deny it, much like HomeBudget, LohasMoney seems to accentuate the fact that finances are not for everyone.

However, both apps do a good job at making your life easier. Things must first become complicated in order to become simple. So to start with, go ahead and configure some of the options in the Settings menu (bottom-right corner). There are a handful of options available, but what’s most important is selecting the currency and setting up a password lock.

Be aware that every button tap in the app had an annoying sound associated with it. Thankfully, these can be turned off, and you can safely concentrate on your finances.

One other important aspect to [...]

Fight Fire And Rescue People With Rescue Team

In Rescue Team, you need to use your finger and keen helicopter flying skills to find missing people, put out fires and save people in distress. The iPhone game is a test of your maneuverability skills, but also a test of nerves, as a few of the game’s mechanics will put you in the pilot’s seat, cursing and pulling your hair out.

In Rescue Team, you’re not controlling a war bird, but rather a rescue chopper, armed with water and plenty of room for distressed people you need to rescue and bring back home. The game is split into 10 scenarios, with the first level being a small tutorial to get you started on controlling your bird. There’s actually not much to it. You have a Fly/Land button, a Hover button and the rest of the screen is to maneuver the helicopter. Touch the Fly button to take off from the helipad (the same button is used to land) and [...]

Meet Crazy Cat USA – one cute little game that makes use of all your natural skills (logic, memory, common sense, attentiveness) as well as all the features built in your iPhone, from the accelerometer, the Retina Display to its simple touchscreen interface.

Crazy Cat USA is actually a collection of mini-games all wrapped into one. There are over 50 levels where you’ll have to help Crazy Cat get around the USA, starting with New York. Some of these levels will require you to find differences between two pictures, catch hotdogs flying in the air, pop balloons, play basketball or race a boat on the water.

The first mini-game of Crazy Cat is actually a mini-mini game. You arrive at the airport and you have to answer a question: Which is the cheapest mode of transportation? Your obvious choices are the airplane, a helicopter and a [...]
