Let’s face it, we’re not children anymore and we’re not getting any younger. Although, it sure would be good if there was a time machine (in a hot tub or not) that would take us back to our childhood. We could enjoy the simple things in life again, like chasing after butterflies, running in the field or throwing a ball around the back years. But imagine what we could do if we could live our childhood in the now, with today’s technology, touchscreen phones, digital puzzles and magical devices. Unfortunately, we can’t do that, but we can make sure our kids can take advantage of all this. And Transport Jigsaw Puzzles 123 is here just for that.

The children game, available for iPhone and iPad, is aimed at kids aged 1 through 6 who enjoy puzzles. It’s created to help the child develop linguistic skills, logical and cognitive skills, concentrate [...]

Gather ‘round, gather ‘round all you Zuma fans! A new game wants to challenge your aim, dexterity and precision under stress. And that game is Snake Color Hunter. There are no promises that this game will blow your mind or that you’ll even keep it around for more than a day. Snake Color Hunter is the game that you’ll have to decide for yourself if you want it or not.

Just like any Zuma-type game, you need to shoot differently colored balls at similarly colored balls that form the snake. Aim to match three of the same colors to take them out of the snake before the row of balls reach the mouth of the snake.

To aim and shoot, you don’t need to drag the cannon around the board. Just tap anywhere on the screen in order to shoot a ball in that direction. The cannon will autorotate in that direction and release the ball. The catch is that your aim needs to [...]

If you were one of the people that thought that slingshooting birds and pigs was not what a mobile phone was for, then Troll Blaster won’t sit right up your alley either. But even if you were, you undoubtedly changed your mind after you first saw Angry Birds. And I say that because the game seemed silly to me at first as well. It goes the same for Troll Blaster, a physics game in which you need to use whatever weapons you’re given to take out every troll on the map.

If you’ve played Angry Birds, you’re already a master at shooting things at structures. Each level in Troll Blaster will give you a set of weapons, a fixed ammunition for each weapon and trolls and structures to destroy using weapons, intuition and, of course, some physics.

From the get-go, you’ll feel right at home. But what sets Troll Blaster apart from the rest of the competition [...]

Fancy a game of upside down Tetris that won’t have you standing on your head or holding your iPhone upside down? Then Blocks Up is the iPhone game for your. While the game doesn’t excel at graphics or ingenuity, it does give you what you crave for: a simple and addictive game you can pick up and put down as easy as that.

The game’s tutorial should be clear enough for everyone. Tap a piece to rotate it. Slide it left or right to make it move in that direction. Slide it upwards to speed it up. As I said, it’s just like Tetris, but with the game pieces flowing from the bottom of the screen to the top, where you must form lines, or walls as Blocks Up calls them.

The way you create these walls is by lining up pieces on next to each other, without any holes. Once you create one of these walls, it disappears from the screen with [...]

You are never too old for puzzles. It’s just that type of game that you can enjoy when you are little and you find out that you can make a castle with just a couple of bricks. It’s the type of game that you enjoy when you call your friends over for a drink and try to figure out how to turn 100 puzzle pieces into an image of Iron Man or the Statue of Liberty. It’s the game that you play with your grandchildren when you are old. And now, it’s the game that you can play on your iPhone and iPad if you download Puzzle Man Pro.

Puzzle Man Pro is the app that lets you enjoy creating 3 images in the free version and over 50 images out of puzzle pieces in the full download. And the great thing is that it has most of the features that real puzzles have. For example, if you love puzzles and are very good at mixing the pieces together, you will probably buy a complex-at-least-100-piece puzzle. Well, the same applies [...]

The time when you went to a club and heard disco songs being played all night is long gone. Today, club music is all about DJs mixing our favorite songs on the radio. And, like all music genres, this too has its fans and haters. The fans can’t get enough of these mixes and are eager to try their own, while the haters see these DJs as nothing more than people who scratch vinyls and push a couple of buttons for a living. Whether you are a fan and try to improve your skills or a hater who thinks that club music has nothing to do with skills, try Skillz and put your mixing skills to the test. (Wow, that’s a lot of skills in a sentence)

Skillz is the Guitar Hero for club music. If at Guitar Hero you had to pinch the strings as you were shown on the screen, with Skillz you have to push the right buttons and scratch the vinyl as you are shown. Sounds [...]

Yes, the name might be misleading, but the apps and prizes are real. FreeAppWin is a two-part application. On one hand, FreeAppWin features free apps on its home screen every day. These are apps that are offered for free on that given day in the AppStore. On the other hand, FreeAppWin also offers you daily, weekly and monthly contests where you can win prizes up to $200. These are contest giveaways where the prizes consist in Amazon gift cards.

I’m not sure if these are apps that are offered for free to FreeAppWin users or if they’re just on sale for free in the AppStore. You can actually get these apps directly from the AppStore, if you know how and when to look for them. There are of course other apps that will offer you a similar service, where you can place apps in a watchlist until they go free. AppMiner [...]
