For those of us who were raised with a Windows PC, some things are hard to let go, when getting an Apple device, even if Apple products have all these shiny tools than can replace and actually work better than anything Windows can offer. But for people used to writing Word Documents all their life, the feeling of turning to another writing tool is a bit weird. And that’s when apps like iDocs come in handy. For those of us who aren’t yet ready to give up Word Documents. And more.

iDocs makes writing feel like it did when you had Word installed. But that’s far from being its only functionality. From converting any file to PDFs to being able to synchronize and keep all your files in one place, iDocs is the tool to have when dealing with a lot of documents.

With iDocs, you can easily create Word and Text documents. Add new Folders and Zip files. Import all sorts of files, and convert them all, from pictures to text [...]

I can’t say I’m particularly fond of Photo & Video apps. I use Instagram from time to time. But that’s about it. Mainly because most of the Photo & Video apps I came across lacked the mind blowing effect to make me choose them over Instagram or my regular camera app. But if mind blown was what I was looking for, that’s exactly what I got with TouchCast.

TouchCast is an extremely complex app, and yet easy to use. It allows you to do mostly anything you can imagine yourself doing with a video. Let me just put it this way: it takes an entire crew to make a newscast or a show. But with TouchCast, you can do all this on your own.

The main purpose of TouchCast is to help you create a professional video to share with the TouchCast community, and the world. Although pretty confusing at first, because of all the options and buttons you can use in recording your [...]

Judging by the number of zombie games in the App Store, it looks like zombies are in this season. Whether it’s a strategy zombie game, a puzzle, or an arcade, one thing’s for sure: you need to kill some zombies today. So grab your guns, find a comfortable position, and let today’s battle begin with Zombies & Karate Kids.

Zombies & Karate Kids is a pretty strategical game, but not so much as to make your brain hurt. The goal is killing zombies, of course. And to do that, you have 3 sorts of karate kids you can use: an archer, a sword fighter, and a shooter. Each one better than the other. But also more expensive to hire in this battle to save the world against zombies.

The game is structured on three levels, with each level challenging you for five phases of wave after wave of zombie attacks.

At the beginning of each game, you’ll have to [...]

Like me, you’ve probably had your share of arcade games. The thrill of those side-scrollers, bashing buttons left and right. Ah, I get all rattled up just talking about it. But if you don’t know what I’m talking about, then Ultimate Stick Fight is one of the best ways to get a feel for the old days right on your iPhone!

Playing Ultimate Stick Fight is as easy as it gets. Your left thumb controls the movement left and right. Your right will perform combos via punching, kicking and jumping. To throw something else into the mix, you can also pick up objects (like a dumpster) and throw it at your enemies for instant kills. That’s it. Move left and right, punch, kick, jump and throw.

Throw in 2 characters to choose from, one more badass than the other, 40 different levels to complete, 8 incredibly cool environments and a bunch of stick [...]

Children probably make the toughest crowd. Because, although it’s pretty easy to attract their attention, keeping them focused for more than a couple of minutes requires some sort of magic. Especially when you’re dealing with small children. But you’d be surprised what simple things get them mesmerized. Even though I’m not a kid, I was when I put BeBop Blox to the test.

eBop Blox is a pretty simple, yet effective educational app. The goal is for your child to form all sorts of shapes using bricks. Nothing revolutionary here, so at this point you might think he’d be better off using actual bricks to do so, instead of some silly app. But, somehow, BeBop Blox makes this entire experience better.

First of all, because you have all these sounds following your child’s every step. Congratulating him when he’s right, and encouraging him when he’s wrong. Plus, all the [...]

Minion Rush icon

Judging by the looks of the best games released this previous month, June was a very animated month, with games inspired by the recently released sequel of Monsters Inc. and the brand new Despicable me 2 animation. And June also brought a bit of mystery, some strategy, and a lot of fun. So, let’s take a look at what we considered to be the best games of June.

Inspired by the hit animation, Despicable me, and promoting its promising sequel, Minion Rush is the perfect combination between a popular animation and the already iconic Temple Run gameplay. Your job is to control one of the adorable minions, as he runs through Gru’s lab.

You have mostly the same controls as in Temple Run, a lot of cool power-ups and other items to be collected. You can upgrade your Minion’s look, buying him all sorts of costumes. And there are a lot of achievements up for grabs. But [...]

When it comes to diseases, few of us know how and when to act. On the one hand, there are the ipohondriacs, who only need a mild headache to call their doctor. And then, there are most of us, who are so busy with our daily chores, that we sometimes wait for years before going to a medical check. Fortunately, now you can have a basic medical check at home, whenever you feel something is wrong. It’s free, easy to use, and only one tap away from you. This is WebMD.

The first thing you have to understand about WebMD is that it’s not a substitute for a real doctor. WebMD suggests possible conditions for the simptoms you have. Tells you more about certain diseases you have. Suggests treatments and helps you get more info on the medication you’re taking. Teaches you more about first aid. WebMD has answers for all of your questions. But you still need to see a [...]
