NoteLedge is a really nice app that allows you to take notes whenever, and wherever. The only thing you need is to have your iPad with you, and the app installed on the device. There are quite a few mobile office solutions in the AppStore. They all let you create and edit files of different types (we’re generally asking for doc files, txt files and excel). And until recently Documents2 was my preferred solution. Then along came Polaris Office and my iPad will never be the same again.

Polaris Office is a mobile office application that aims to provide a AIO solution for mobile users, no matter if they’re heavy business users or are just more often than not on the go. The app includes the ability to view, create and edit Microsoft Word files, Powerpoint presentations, Excel files, but also PDF files and your good-ol’ txt files.

You can create files based on a number of templates and generally speaking, the plethora of functions that Polaris Office provides you with will rival any of your solutions, including Apple’s [...]

Meet ups with friends are fun, but living in a big city can prove to be a hassle when trying to get together, especially when you live some ten miles away from each other and the meet up point is somewhere in the middle. Unless you want to be the first to arrive and wait for the others, you’d better be well prepared and have some knowledge of both your route and your friends’ routes to the meet up point. But what if there was a way to keep track of where you friends are on the route and also let them know where you are. Now you can with En Route! for the iPhone.

This is an app that’s dead-easy to use. It requires no manual and there’s no learning curve. It’s just what you’d want from a well designed app. Start the app, let it pick up your current location and create a trip. Start typing your destination and lo and behold, the app will suggest things as you [...]

Are you looking for a splat throwing adventure? If so, there’s a little monkey in need for your help. All it can do is throw splat at its enemies, and slide from one jungle vine to another, trying to avoid the dangers below. But it can’t do this on its own. So, if you think you have what it takes to help this cute creature, download Kung Splat Monkey from the Appstore and let the adventure begin.

Kung Splat Monkey is all about a cute monkey trying to make its way through the dangerous jungle. With a finger-slide on the screen you can help this hero move from one vine to another, and it only takes one tap on the splat stash for this monkey to attack its adversaries. The goal? Collect as many bananas as possible on your way to the biggest, juiciest banana that is hidden at the end of every level.

Kung Splat Monkey offers 3 game stages to go through, each [...]

Remember all those games you loved to play when you were a child? Well, I’m sure that one of them was Tetris. I bet that, no matter how frustrating it got when you just couldn’t fit those sliding blocks anymore, you still played it on and on. Because the more challenging it was, the more addicted you got. And now, with a single download from the AppStore, you can bring back all those beautiful childhood memories. Just grab Blocks Up and experience a new version of your childhood game.

If I had to sum up Blocks Up in only a couple of words, I’d say that it’s an upside down Tetris. Because instead of arranging the blocks at the bottom of the screen, you have to form lines of blocks at the top. But that’s not the only novelty that Blocks Up brings to the table. There are also obstacles to surpass, coins to collect and even more surprises along the way that [...]

Are you looking for an app that will help you browse the web and keep your secrets safe? Whether you have a picture that you like to keep private or you’re reading an article you’re not willing to share, there’s an app that can make sure no one knows what you don’t want them to. This is Tap Black, and with a single tap, you can purchase it from the AppStore today.

The name kinda gives it away. Tap Black makes your screen black when you tap it. Even so, I must admit that, at first, I didn’t quite get the purpose of Tap Black. And then, while reading its description on the AppStore product page, it hit me. If I had this app while I was in High School, it would have saved me a lot of study time. And it can also be pretty useful even now. If your girlfriend doesn’t like you reading about games, or your boyfriend hates it when you spend all day reading [...]
