I’m sure that if you could place a bet in a casino knowing that your chances for beating the dealer are pretty high, you’d most likely want to know more about how that’s possible. But the app I’m reviewing today is probably not for you. If you think that you could just take your nifty iPad into a casino and let it do all the betting for you, you might as well stop reading now. Roulette King InsightBet Turbo is designed for the experienced gamblers that know the game of roulette inside out and who simply want to increase their chances of winning against the dealer.

Don’t think this is a betting for dummies app. In order to make use of Roulette King InsightBet Turbo, you will need to possess a tremendous amount of experience in both gambling and how the game of roulette works, including how bets are placed, various betting systems and the [...]

What do you do when you have to make up your mind, but it’s just so hard to find the right decision? Some use Pros and Cons lists. Others leave it to faith and flip a coin. Or look for signs to tell them the answer. Ask their friends. Ask their parents. And most of the time still end up not knowing what to do. But now, there comes an app that can help make decision making easier. This is Mmmh, and you can get it from the AppStore.

Mmmh helps you make up your mind, by encouraging you to weight your options taking into account multiple aspects and their value. For every question you are trying to find an answer to, all you have to do is choose your own options and grade them according to your own criteria and their value. It might sound complicated, but in the end it’s pure Math, only that you put in the numbers, and Mmmh resolves the equation for [...]

Are you tired of carrying around heavy notebooks or pieces of paper that eventually get mixed up or lost? This doesn’t mean that you should stop taking notes. Especially, since there are situations when you really need to write something down. And we all know that ideas come to us when we least expect them to. But now, the only thing you need to use to take your notes is a single app, and your iPad, of course. This is NoteLedge, and with it, taking notes will become a pleasure.

NoteLedge is a really nice app that allows you to take notes whenever, and wherever. The only thing you need is to have your iPad with you, and the app installed on the device. And when I say you can take notes, don’t imagine that this is the only thing you can do with NoteLedge. From being able to use different colors to inserting videos and pictures in [...]

There are quite a few mobile office solutions in the AppStore. They all let you create and edit files of different types (we’re generally asking for doc files, txt files and excel). And until recently Documents2 was my preferred solution. Then along came Polaris Office and my iPad will never be the same again.

Polaris Office is a mobile office application that aims to provide a AIO solution for mobile users, no matter if they’re heavy business users or are just more often than not on the go. The app includes the ability to view, create and edit Microsoft Word files, Powerpoint presentations, Excel files, but also PDF files and your good-ol’ txt files.

You can create files based on a number of templates and generally speaking, the plethora of functions that Polaris Office provides you with will rival any of your solutions, including Apple’s [...]

There’s a reason why there are categories in the AppStore. So that apps fit in them, more or less. This isn’t the case with Taposé, the all-in-one app that actually wants to be all in one. It’d be hard for me to place the app in one category, simply because it does a little bit of everything, but, unfortunately, nothing excellent in particular. The developers classified it as a productivity app, so I’ll roll with that.

Here goes my attempt to describe it, although you must forgive me if my definition won’t coincide with yours. Taposé is an iPad-only app that aims to make you more productive by offering you a set of features that would apply to you no matter if you’re a designer, a writer or a scientist.

The developers describe it as an app “created to help busy iPad owners do more.” But more of what? And herein lies the problem. Taposé tries [...]

There’s so much going on in our every day lives that a lot of the times we tend to lose track of what really matters, what’s really important. You might be a career-driven or perhaps you’re a family-oriented person. No matter what motivates you to get up in the morning, there comes a day when you lose sight of it. That’s when Inspire! comes in. The iPad app helps you define your personal and professional values, create goals and separate them into tasks that you can plan on a weekly basis. Think of Inspire! as ToDo meets Calendar meets Inspiration.

Open up Inspire! and it will guide through a process of creating your own profile, defining your values and goals and setting up your roles. Think of roles as the different hats you wear throughout your life, not only at your job, but try to generalize. For example, I’m a designer and developer, but [...]

Is your child asking you to leave the light on when he goes to bed, because he’s afraid of the monster hiding in the closet? Or are you preparing to throw a party, and the only thing missing are the lights that make you feel like you’re in the middle of the dancing ring? Well, believe it or not, now there’s an app that brings to the table all the night lights you’ll ever need. This is Night Light, and you can purchase it from the AppStore.

Night Light is the app that can make your evenings more romantic or, quite the contrary, turn them into wild party nights. Imagine this: all your friends are gathered, drinks are in the glasses, the music is loud, everybody’s dancing, but there’s still something missing from this picture. It’s the night light that can turn any place into a club. And instead of heading for the supermarket to buy [...]
